Five years ago, a jury decided the fate
of one man....
Tonight, he decides theirs.
In 2001, Claire Norris, a waitress in a small-town Arizona
diner, was asked to report for jury duty. Along with eleven
others, she listened to the evidence against a man accused of
a crime against a minor. After days of difficult deliberation,
the man - Leonard Karlsson, Jr. - was found guilty.
In prison, the “unspoken rule” regarding such crimes
was enforced - Karlsson was beaten to within an inch of his
life, his face becoming severely disfigured as a result. Years
later, it was discovered that Karlsson may have been innocent…
Tonight, Karlsson will return to the town that held his trial.
Still severely scarred and barely recognizable, he now conceals
his wounds…and his identity.
In one horrifying night, Karlsson once again faces the twelve
jurors who decided his fate. One by one, he now decides theirs…until
only one remains, the twelfth juror
(“XII”) - Claire Norris. |
